A movie about the making of a video game sounds like a confusing concept, but two Brooklyn filmmakers have made such a premise into an emotional work of art. Thank You for Playing follows Ryan and Amy Green as they create a video game as a way to cope with and share the story of their young son’s journey with terminal cancer. Filmmakers David Osit and Malika Zouhali-Worrall have launched a Kickstarter campaign to get the documentary distributed to a wider audience. Watch their video, below.
