A Checkers fast food restaurant in under construction at 43 Empire Boulevard on the site of an old Gaseteria station. The structure itself looks largely complete and when we passed by on Friday workers were repairing the sidewalk. Based on the setback and the curb-cuts, we’re assuming this is a drive-thru of some sort. GMAP
