God promised Abraham some 3000yrs ago that his offspring will one day cover the great Earth like “sands in the seaâ€? Let’s see, today there are 4-5 millions US, 4-6 millions Europe/Russia, 5-9 millions Mideast/Africa. I think that should do. So, what are we looking at…15-19 millions Jews total in the world. Last time I checked, we were over 6 billions inhabitants on Earth, of which, 1.3 billion are Chinese. I could be mistaken, but I don’t think the any of the holy books mentions about Abraham ever espousing a Chinese mistress somewhere.
2:47, this article had nothing to do with coming to the U.S. “just to make money and take advantage.” It had everything to do with elitism and racism, so extreme that you would turn your back on your flesh and blood for the so-called betterment of the community. I’ll agree that too many immigrants come here with no intention to assimilate, but not too many come here with the intention of rebuilding some kind of pure race.
I’m just curious who in New York isn’t only here to rape it for all it’s worth.

the syrian jews are not the only immigrants who come here just to make money and take advantage. many immigrants seem to be here just to do the same. they send all the money to relatives back home, they don’t assimilate, they don’t speak English and they don’t even take steps to legalize their status.
it constantly upsets me to see people just using the US without putting their heart and soul into this country and it’s people.
This community gives over 100 million dollars in charity every year. Be advised, that they only give within the community. They’d give charity to dogs (which are rarely kept as pets) from within the community before they gave it to a person from outside of the community. Another issue not mentioned in this article is that acts of domestic violence within the community, as with the Hasidic community, go unreported.
This is one of the most disturbing articles I’ve ever read. It makes me want to boycott Century 21 – one of my favorite places to shop.
My mother was ex-communicated from this community for marrying my father. I thank God (which ever one you want to give the accolades to!) for her decision. As she ages she now speaks more of her life in the community and it is clear to me now how much she sacrificed and how she longs to be with what’s left of her family once more. I have never knowingly laid eyes on anyone from her side of the family and they’d be even less pleased with me for marrying a Muslim. No matter how they try to justify this practice, it is not much different from Hitler’s quest to establish an Aryan nation. Please note that the important and major difference is that the SY’s are not trying to annihilate whole groups of people to help the plan along.
