I am the guy that started Hot Bird. I was surfing the net and just happened to stumble onto your website. What memories! Remember the vans? Care to share any stories? You can reach me at loftmike@yahoo.com
You probably also feel that we should build affordable housing ONLY so that everyone is on equal par. There was a place like that, and it was called Communist Russia, and we all know how that turned out. Just understand that the capitalist market, while may not be perfect, is the best out there.
“asshole” “bitter” “you probably wish” “bitter just like you” “liberals”
I guess I should have been more specific, since your imagination has completely gotten away from you … and all your assumptions are incorrect, by the way. Not only do you seem to have limited intellectual capacity, but your emotional maturity appears stunted as well.
Bring it on Anon (a.k.a asshole) 4:21. You are obviously bitter that other people, meaning NOT YOU are capitalizing in the real estate market and actually putting up what appears to be an awesome building. You probably wish they would downzone the entire city so that everyone loses money and we would all be bitter just like you. What you and many other liberals fail to realize is that the reason why Clinton Hill, Ft. Greene and vertually the entire downtown Brooklyn which was once the shithole of America, is now the hottest destination. This was ONLY brought on because of developers with big balls who erect (no pun intended) great buildings. It’s the developers in Williamsburgh and the like who put up ugly peices of shit that are slowing the process.
Oh, yeah, I loved Hot Bird! Those were the days!
Anon 4:00, there were actually two or three inferences that could be made. Do you really want me to publicly point out your limited mental capacity?
Moreon!!!!! 525 Clinton is obviously already built. so whats your point? its not like they will have to tear it down.
ahhhhh I remember Hot Bird.
re: the photo — City Planning just presented its plans for rezoning Fort Greene and Clinton Hill to Community Board 2 and 525 Clinton Avenue will be above the proposed height limit.
