I sure as heck won’t be hanging out in Bay Ridge anytime soon.
Nice butt!
The truck actually did drive right up to the GW monument in its attempt to back out onto Montague Terrace. They eventually succeeded without toppling the lamppost, and headed north on Columbia Hts. Masterful eighteen-wheeler expertise at its best. It was another fascinating event in the history of Brooklyn Heights, and I sat there with my dog and witnessed each gripping moment.
denton, at least it didn’t get top booking over the shootings.
Looks like he did it on purpose.
Re Promenade, dumb. Looks like the trucker is using the sidewalk to maneuver. He didn’t ‘drive onto the Promenade’. Slow day for news I guess.
Butternut Market will be in the old Solomon’s Porch space. It is progressing well. Electric and plumbing have been done as well as drywall. Tiling is in progress. Shooting for June or July open.
It will not be a solely organic market. The neighborhood needs fresh produce, meat and fish and the emphasis will be on high quality offerings at affordable prices. There will be organic offerings plus a lare selection of better coffees, snacks and everything else you’d expect to find in comparable places like Choice, Provisions or Brooklyn Fare.
