RE: the first item, about Ridgewood [the link for which doesn’t work]; when I moved to Brooklyn in 1970, Ridgewood was split between Queens and Brooklyn. By the mid-70s it had magically all shifted to Queens. Nevertheless, Ridge wood was represented in the old Brooklyn Brownstone Conference [by Paul Kerzner, who’s featured in this article–glad to see that I’m not the only old timer still around.
