Of course the buses and trains have roaches and rats. People are filthy. Eating their dinner on the bus, fried chicken, french fries, spilling drinks all over, spitting all over the place, little children eating and touching everything, and they whine about the MTA not keeping the place clean enough. I am not going to get into what part of the population is responsible for most of the litter and filth. Also, whoever decided to have cloth seats in the buses deserves the dunce cap. At least the plastic seats can be cleaned. The fare hike is not going to get the buses cleaner, we have to work on this ourselves, first by enforcing the “NO Eating Rule.”
In spite of all the bad news on the links, there is still beauty in the world. Great photo.
“children who live in public housing suffer in school.” well thanks for that shocking bit of information.
