Tonight, the Carroll Gardens Neighborhood Association sponsors a meeting that will address the issue of expanding the small neighborhood landmarking district. A panel of professionals and residents will explain landmarking and its benefits, how the process works, its impact on buyers and renters and other questions. Monday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PS 58 Carroll School Auditorium, Carroll Street Entrance (Court and Smith streets).
Fort Greene: Good Works Meeting
The Fort Greene Association hosts a meeting presenting community news and information on local organizations doing great things in the neighborhood. Representatives include Fort Greene Snap, Myrtle Avenue Young Entrepreneurs, CCM Future Scholars, Tillary Park Hoops, Green Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, The Fort Greene Park Conservancy, and others. Light refreshments will be served. Monday, 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, 85 South Oxford.
