Neighbors Helping Neighbors Benefit Bash
Tonight, Neighbors Helping Neighbors presents its First Annual Benefit Bash at Union Hall. Learn more the group while enjoying drinks, bocce ball, and a silent auction. Tracy Bonham, One Ring Zero, and Takka Takka perform. Located in Sunset Park, Neighbors Helping Neighbors educates first-time homebuyers, engages in tenant advocacy, informs the community about predatory lending, and counsels to prevent foreclosures. “Demystifying ULURP” Workshop
Today, South Brooklyn Accountable Development Initiative (a project of Fifth Avenue Committee) and the Center for Urban Pedagogy present the first of two workshops. Entitled “Demystifying ULURP,” these bi-lingual workshops will explain the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP), a public review process mandated by New York City charter.
