Parents looking to tempt the young eaters in their household into expanding their culinary horizons may want to head to One More Bite, a family-friendly food festival taking place in Gowanus this weekend.
The foodie event is geared towards challenging young taste buds by providing pint-sized nibbles, hands-on activities and culinary inspired games and crafts.

Young explorers receive a passport upon entry and earn a stamp for each new lesson they learn or flavor they try. Learning stations will feature local farmers and entrepreneurs and participating food vendors include Trois Petits Cochons, Pizza Moto, Bear Pond Farms, GoodPop and more.
The event, produced by Brooklyn Based Kids, takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 22 at the Green Building at 452 Union Street in Gowanus.

Tickets are $5 per person in advance or $10 at the door — there’s no charge for children 2 years and under. To find out more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
