The West Indian Day Parade should have been cancelled along time ago. There have been far too many people gun down, slaughtered, stabbed and maimed in broad daylight. Everyone is drinking, including the cops, and arw smashed by the time they arrive on the Parkway. In the past I have seen thugs stand outdide a bodega all day robbing people. If the parade is cancelled the worse that’ll happen is politicians won’t have a platform to feed us their bull on labor day..the best that
