A new food spot is coming to 110 Dekalb Avenue. Given the name–Hot Chix–it’s fair to assume that poultry will be on the menu. We’re not sure when the target opening day is, but we do know that the pun-loving restaurateurs have a date with the community board tonight regarding their liquor license. If they’re only at that stage, we can’t imagine the brew will be flowing anytime soon. GMAP

  1. I also spoke too the owner young very nice guy… he mentioned a charcoal broiled chicken with a 6 foot grill, sounds delicious and waiting for a good chicken place too open in fort greene!

  2. Beer and wine. I had a chat with the owner and he told me he wants to open a local chain of these. I forget how he answered when I asked him what made him different from Los Pollitos. I’m holding out for the return on Hot Bird.

  3. If they are applying for a liquor license it will not be like a Ranch one, Chic-fil-a fast food place, meaning it will not be geared toward high school students. Besides, Caffe e Vino has thrived and pulled in the Bam crowd. Actors and patrons alike.
