If your tastes run more toward stories of doomed affairs than happily ever after, then Green-Wood has a February tour to satisfy your love of the dramatic.
Join a walking tour through the historic cemetery for tales of unrequited love, tragic death and star-crossed lovers. While wandering among the tombstones you will be treated to the saga of Henry Ward Beecher and Elizabeth Tilton, the Valentine’s Day death of Alice Roosevelt and more tragic love tales.
The tour takes place on Saturday, February 15 from 12 to 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for the general public and $20 for Green-Wood members. For more information and to purchase a ticket visit the event page.
