With the recent news that the old Bodegas space on Fulton and Clinton is now spoken for, readers have been asking what the deal is with the former dance studio across the street. We did a little digging and it turns out that, barring interference from the state banking authorities, a North Fork bank will be opening in this location in the next few months. The Pratt Area Community Council (which does not own the space) has been working hard behind the scene for years to get a bank to open on Fulton Street, so we bet they had a hand in making this happen.
