Does anyone know what’s going on with Con Ed on Carroll Street in CG? electricity knocked out for the block twice in the past month. GRGH! on that note, if electricity was out for ~12+ hours, do i need to throw everything out in the fridge? i’m kind of skeeved at the idea of using anything in there but really upset by throwing out so much food. so wasteful. stupid con ed.

The guy who rescued that gal on the N line deserves a ticker-tape parade. Why doesn’t the city give this guy a parade, rather than spoiled sports stars, most of whom don’t live in the city?
