this is the one, i think, that has a practically identical next door neighbor that is for sale by corcoran for much more. both have brokers’ signs in front, which is amusing to behold since the properties are so similar. it’s on clermont by dekalb, not the bqe. would be curious what differentiates it from the neighbor.
No way! Way overpriced. This house was on market months ago–I was psyched about it till I found out it’s down by BQE. Terible location, nice big house. THe map on the listing is misleading–they have Clermont circled, but it’s NOT the block this house is on. It looks like a nice house, but I think 1.1-1.2 (just my semi-educated guess) is more like it.
Decent property but not competitively priced. Not a lot of historic details. Floors don’t look original when not covered by carpet. Facade is painted. It’d be a while before you could get rental income. It’s definitely well located. It’s probably in move-in condition if pics do justice but would cost extra to see it in it’s full splendor. The broker boasts “four spectacular levels” but I would say three legitimate living levels. They’re counting the basement – there’s no ground floor level like your standard brownstone.
This photo’s on 10th Ave in Windsor Terrace…

” THe map on the listing is misleading–they have Clermont circled, but it’s NOT the block this house is on. ”

Bid low.
P.S. I like http://www.foxtons.com. I think they’re second to http://www.corcoran.com when it comes to informative listings and user friendliness.
clermont is okayish too big of a street for my taste.
well using the ‘map’ icon it says it is on clermont, between dekalb and willoughby, which is just two blocks from fort green park.
sorry the link probably blocked the comment so I’ll try again..
