re: shooting in fort greene.
two words – gun control.
Amazingly it happened at 7:30pm, not quite sundown yet. The gun man had the victim was on his knees pleading for his life in open air on a public street corner.
what’s a 17 teenager doing with a gun.
If guiliani could single-handedly crack down on the mob I don’t see how Bloomberg can’t crack down on murderous, gun-slinging, drug dealers. But what do I know. I’m just a novice to the law and the machinations of city government.

It would be an interesting epithet if the Broken Angel got a facelift in the process of being brought up to code and everything that we love/hate about it was replaced by a modernistic facade.
