The place opens its doors to private parties. The woman who owns the jerk chicken place across the street had her recent birthday party there.
I remember seeing this place during my days as a social worker in the early 90s. It’s amazing that it hasn’t changed a wink. Maybe someday it will be restored.
Does anyone know what the plans for the Kingston Lounge are?
That used to be THE crack house when I lived in the Projects as a kid.
Those were the days!
Sigh. If I had the money, I would turn the above Kingston Lounge into THE place in Crown Heights. It’s such a great space, on a underutilized block.
