Petebklyn,
Can’t get much more ghetto than Lorraine Street. I know the RISD grads on Van Brunt St like to pretend the pjs don’t exist, it’s hard to ignore that most RH resident (8,000 plus) live in NYCHA housing.

ROFL! Good one.
And that photo is seriously awesome.
“The guys I know from Harlem generally consider Brooklyn as outlaw country and FAR more dangerous than uptown.”
That surprised me until I reflected there was no “Brownsville Renaissance.”
hardly would describe RedHook as the ghetto. Old industrial area perhaps.
what are they entitled to?
Do we have to go over “entitled” versus “sense of entitlement” again. jeeze.
Shea butter is excellent and the fruit of the shea trea (surrounds the nut that contains the butter) is also delicious (I said nut butter).

well in a lot of places, and in some cases, one can argue that they are. they still make me barf tho.

Unfortunately, I think the Kyles are very representative of the type of people that have been moving to Red Hook over the past ten years. Entitled white folks that moved to the ghetto and walk around like they’re neighborhood saviors.
