Eight-Story, 41-Unit Building Planned for Empty Lot in Bed Stuy at Marcy and Kosciuszko

A tipster sent us this photo of workers clearing a large lot at 168 Kosciuszko Street on the corner of Marcy Avenue in Bed Stuy, where an eight-story apartment building is planned. The 41-unit development will spread across 34,379 square feet, according to building permits approved last summer.

It will feature 13 underground parking spaces, 23 bicycle parking spots, a recreation room, storage rooms and a laundry room. The vacant lot, whose primary address is 689-691 Marcy Avenue, used to house a two-story warehouse that was demolished in 2012. It last traded hands in December 2011 for $750,000. GMAP
