Last weekend was off the charts at the winter pop-up Flea in Dumbo #0151;the double-whammy of Times and Daily Candy coverage has a way of doing that. This weekend promises a perfect mix of mainstay vendors plus some newbies (like one guy with vintage guitars) to spice it up. For those of you who haven’t covered your Valentine’s bases yet, we got yer back: Plenty of flowers, chocolates and gifties will be on display, so come on down. As always, pupusas and pastries indoors and bbq outdoors. Check out the Flea Blog for directions and more info on the various vendors that will be in both spaces. The Dumbo market will be open at 76 and 81 Front Street on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through March 29; F train to York Street or A/C to High Street.

I went by yesterday and thought it was wonderful to see so much activity and energy at a time when many stores cannot even make the rent. I wonder what makes people like juno and 3313 spew such venom at something like this. They must have a lot of self-hate.
That’s interesting 11217, because your comment a week ago was: “So I’m basically done posting here I think (I know you all will be very happy about that)”
That’s interesting 3313, because your ONLY other comment so far on this blog was on February 8, when you said…and I quote…”I like the flea”
juno106- you are not alone – it’s smug, yuppified and overpriced
Am I the only one who thinks the Flea sucks?
