Closing Bell: The Flea Settles In At One Hanson

The Brooklyn Flea continues its winter residency at One Hanson this weekend. Like last weekend, a hundred or so top-notch vintage, handmade and food vendors (including, starting tomorrow, a new grilled cheese vendor that redefines the medium) will take over three levels of the historic Williamsburgh Bank. Don’t forget your camera! The Flea will be taking place every Saturday and Sunday through the end of March from 10 am to 5 pm at One Hanson Place. You can take any number of subways to the Atlantic Terminal or the C train to Lafayette. UPDATE: We just received confirmation that we will have a Red Cross donation center for Haiti (JUST MONEY, NO CLOTHES OR FOOD PLEASE) set up near the entrance to the Flea both days this weekend. So if you haven’t gotten around to donating by text or credit card yet, you can drop a few bucks into the pot on your way in.
