This week’s big New York Times article about the Brooklyn food scene should provide some good momentum heading into this weekend at the Brooklyn Flea in Dumbo. Specialty craft foodies from the article like McClure’s Pickles, Fine and Raw Chocolate and Salvatore Bklyn Ricotta will be on hand alongside Miss Amy’s Preserves (all the way from the North Fork) and Flea staples like Red Hook pupusas and Choice Pastries. On the furniture front, we’ll be paying special attention to the Chelsea Marketeers and midcentury modern specialists Sit + Read. Check out the Flea Blog for directions and more info on the various vendors that will be in both spaces. The Dumbo market will be open at 76 and 81 Front Street on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through March 29; F train to York Street or A/C to High Street.
