Because of the Marathon-related hiatus on November 2, you’ll have to double your dosage of The Flea this Sunday. In addition to checking out the final week of the Furniture Fest, there a tons of new vendors coming on line this week. And if you come on the early side, maybe you can win this week’s scavenger hunt? You can even do your Halloween costume shopping at The Flea this weekend!
The Brooklyn Flea is held on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 176 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn; no bikes or dogs allowed in the market. Closest trains are the C and G to Washington/Clinton. You can also take any of the number of trains that go to Atlantic Station and walk up Lafayette Avenue from there. For more info, check out the Flea Blog.
Beautiful day for the Flea on Sunday. Great crowd too.
As always, nice to have the flea market nearby. Such a positive addition to the neighborhood. I hope it can keep going strong through the coming year and years!!!
I wouldn’t mind seeing more quality bric-a-brac. I’m not at the stage for vintage clothing of which there is quite a bit.
I don’t need anything more to add to the junk heap but it’s always fun to rummage…and spend.
I would love to know if any of the pricey mod furniture sold from the Greenjeans kids. Some very lovely things…some things I’m not sure I could live with of course, but some of the things I asked about were awfully expensive. Not that good furniture doesn’t cost money.
With luck Sunday will be crisp and sunny…and not windy like last weekend!
Kudos
