Closing Bell: Free Beer in Crown Heights

Brooklyn Based is partnering with Brooklyn Brewery for the Total Crown Heights Immersion, an excuse to drink for free and shop around Crown Heights. Starting at noon tomorrow, you can pick up one of 500 free “immersion” cards at either Franklin Park or Nostrand Avenue Pub. When you have the card, you can get free Brooklyn Brewery beer at those two bars as well as Crown Inn, Catfish, and Barboncino. And there will be discounts and free stuff at all kinds of stores on Franklin Avenue, including Owl and Thistle General Store, Wedge Cheesemonger, Calabar Imports, Little Zelda, and Rosebud Vintage. And the soon-to-open Hullabaloo Books will host a photography and art show called “Crown Heights is Culture.” The event will run from noon to 6 pm tomorrow, September 7.
