The Department of Transportation will be milling (removing the top layer of asphalt, pictured above) on Dekalb Avenue in Fort Greene Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights this week, according to an email blast from Community Board Two, as part of an effort to repave this area and smooth the streets. It will be loud, warns the board. Any cars left on Dekalb will be be relocated, “generally within three blocks.” And if you can’t find your car, the DOT recommends calling (718) 222-7285 to find out where they towed it. Sweet dreams.
