Does anyone know what impact the fire will have on whether or when Butternut will open?
May or may not happen now because of the fire. It was scheduled for T-Mobile to put a transponder on the roof of the building. Roof was damaged from the fire.
Sorry, I missed that the crane is actually assigned to that corner building.

Yes, wasder, the fire on Sunday did some dmage to Butternut renovations….I got home too late last night to see the extent of it but typical water damage…brand new ceiling, walls and tile need to be replaced now.
It was a beautiful subway tile job too. Very sad.
I suspect it has something to do with the building at the SW corner of Stuyvesant & Hancock that burned maybe 2 years ago. It will be interesting to see what come of it.
The fire at the corner of Halsey & Stuyvesant was on Sunday night…way too soon for this to be something about that.
DIBS–is that the place where Butternut Market was going to be? Big bummer if so.
