This weekend’s shaping up to be a good one, with lots of new vendors coming your way. In Fort Greene, we’ve got new folks selling everything from vintage eyewear to Peewee Herman dolls. And under the bridge, longtime Flea jewelry vendor Mollie Dash will be debuting an expanded line of curated handmade goods under her new business name Everbrite Mercantile Co. If you’re a scavanger hunter, check in with the Flea blog later today to see this week’s items. Enjoy! The Brooklyn Flea is held on Saturdays from 10 to 5 at the Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Fort Greene (176 Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues; take the C train to Clinton-Washington or the G train to Clinton Avenue) and on Sundays from 11-6 in Dumbo underneath the Brooklyn Bridge at the corner of Water and New Dock Street.

  1. Do they hand out free fedoras to every guy who moves to Brooklyn? That would explain why every other dude I see is wearing one these days.

  2. “What’s with all the males in the pic wearing funny hats?”

I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they’re concerned about skin cancer.
