You can go on a wildlife tour in Prospect Park for free, visit the Brooklyn Museum for $8 (or less!), or brunch your blues away at Ella Cafe in Williamsburg for only $6.95. 1. I’ve said it here so many times, Greenwood Cemetery is a must visit. One of my favorite places in Brooklyn. Every season is wonderful. Go again in the spring, the cherry blossoms are beautiful.

  2. BOD,

Totally in agreement. I went for the first time in the fall, and couldn’t believe I had never been! Greenwood Cemetary must have the best view of Manhattan anywhere. I even think it’s more majestic looking than from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Something about it from up at that height on that bluff…

  3. If you go to greenwood cemetery and want to use the trip as a calorie burner, just don’t break in to a run. I was jogging by and turned in thinking I’d enjoy the peaceful beauty (at my slow jog pace) but the guard made me stop. No running allowed.

  4. there’s also nothing more fun than throwing water bombs off the roof (just learned tho recently from someone that it’s best to use black balloons cuz they are invisible!) at gaggles of drunk ninja chicks and post college frat boys. i havent done this in park slope yet, and i dont think i will since im on a side street for the most part and i dont think it would be as fun. i did used to do it with friends on weekend nights on ludlow street 4 or 5 years ago when i lived there and it was already full fledged margi grad every saturday and sunday night. there’s nothing funnier than water splattering on some drunk girl and she bugs OUT being all like who hit me? who hit me? who spit at me? falling on her heels.

ugh im terrible im going to hell i know it.
just adding some fun free stuff to list 🙂
