Calling All Archetects and Engineers
A tipster sent in this want-ad from the Brooklyn Paper. Good to know that folks are hiring, and that good spelling is not required. Let us know if you apply.

Of course all the architects doubling as wall street brokers will be applying.
Speaking as a good speller I can say good spelling is vastly overrated.
And finally I could get me some of that “quality of life” I’ve heard so much about.
Dyslexics of the world UNTIE!
But everyone is looking to fill in scedules for the beginning of next year
From your own posting. What do they say about glass houses?
Ohhhh, wait. I’ll bet they could hire Scarano. From his posts-from-the-past, he fits the bill as the best “Archetects” speller in Bklyn. Too damn funny.
I wrote the AD!
Action, some architects will try to get anything over on the DOB. Examiners are human and they can miss things. It’s gotten harder though in recent times.
I’ll admit, I’ve been guilty of trying to finagle things past the DOB…only with ADA issues though…and only once did they not catch it….hee hee hee
Geeze! If they miss this, just think what the plan examiners and inspectors may be overlooking.
I think they need to add “copy editors” to that list.
