Closing Bell: Brooklyn One of U.S.'s Hottest Cities

Business Insider has never met a Top 10 (or 15 or 20) List it didn’t like. We don’t usually have the stamina to click through them but a recent list of the Top 15 Hottest American Cities of the Future caught our attention because of Brooklyn’s placement at the top, or at least the beginning, of the list. “This hipster-friendly borough attracts young chefs, artists, entrepreneurs, families, and more, who have opened hip farm-to-table restaurants, cool art galleries and boutiques, and hipster markets like the Brooklyn Flea and Dekalb Market. With amazing cultural venues like the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and the Brooklyn Museum, and the addition of the Barclays Center, NYC’s newest sports and entertainment venue, the area is bound to continue to develop and gentrify.” For the rest of the list, you can cheat and view it all on one page.
