We’re in the eighth week of sheltering in place and the 32nd day of home schooling for New York City schools.

A judge has ordered the New York State Democratic presidential primary election to go on after party leaders cancelled it. Voting for other races was still going to happen anyway, and holding the primary will ensure representation for delegates at the Democratic convention. Absentee ballots are going out this week. If you haven’t already requested one, click here to get yours. The process is quick and easy for already registered voters.

Now that we’re a few days into May, more than 7.5 percent of homes nationally — or 3.8 million homes — are in mortgage forbearance, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association.
