We’re in the fifth week of sheltering in place and the 17th day of home schooling for New York City schools.

The MTA will give half a million dollars — a line of duty death benefit — to the family of each worker who has died of COVID-19. So far, more than 50 MTA workers have perished from the virus. Meanwhile, the official New York City count of coronavirus deaths has jumped past 10,000, thanks to a change in method that now counts deaths at home and those were not tested but had virus symptoms.

What are you doing at home or work during the shutdown, and what are your concerns and thoughts? What do you think should be done here in New York City to combat the spread of the virus and save local businesses and jobs?
