Brooklyn Bridge Park Plants Flowering Trees, Evergreens on Pier 3 Uplands

New trees are going into the uplands on Pier 3 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Here they are in their temporary home waiting for planting Monday. Flowering trees and evergreens will shade one of the seating areas on a terrace on the sound-blocking hills. Photo by Julienne Schaer
