Readers will have plenty of volumes to choose from at the 34 local shops participating in this year’s Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl.

The weeklong crawl runs from April 18 to 25 this year and participating bookstores are spread across the borough, from Here’s a Book in Midwood to Leaves in Greenpoint.

Eager readers can nab a passport at any of the participating shops during the week. The shops are arranged by zone and an online map shows each shop highlighted by zone. Those who manage to get a stamp from every bookstore in a zone will get a 25 percent off coupon to use at any of those shops. Truly dedicated crawlers who manage to visit all 34 stores will be eligible for a grand prize.

The celebration will culminate in an afterparty on Independent Bookstore Day, April 29, at The Center for Fiction in Fort Greene. A passport acts as a ticket to the event and there will be a raffle and other prizes for booklovers to enjoy. Full details for the week can be found at the Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl website.
