The former BKLYN Yard space on the banks of the Gowanus will once again see outdoor action this summer. On Sundays starting May 29th, a weekly party is planned that’s going to include DJs, food from Mile End and other TBD vendors, and drinks courtesy of Botanica. The people behind the party had one event in the space last summer but are planning to be there on the regular this year.

Last time we went, my kid had a blast picking up and chucking rocks into the canal. She wasn’t alone.
That was before I learned about the free floating gonorrhea and whatever other toxic stuff in the water.
Is no one else grossed out by the idea of partying right on the shores of the Gowanus?
