Spend an Art-Filled Day in Bed Stuy With the Return of the Stoops Summer Festival

The annual display of community spirit known as the Stoops Art & Community Summer Festival brings a full schedule of performances, art, and activities to Bed Stuy this weekend
It is the 12th year for the free festival, and the 2025 edition takes place on Saturday, July 26 from 1 to 7 p.m. Decatur Street between Lewis and Stuyvesant avenues will be overflowing with activities for the amped-up block party with an art crawl, stoop performances, local vendors showcasing their work, and activities for kids.

The theme this year is “Echoes of Greatness: Celebrating Bed Stuy’s Hidden Gems” and the event will include an award ceremony to honor six locals whose work and passion have contributed to the neighborhood.
