The Brownstoner brood painted the town red on Saturday night, kicking it off with the early-bird special at Graziella’s on Vanderbilt followed by a quick stop-in at a friend’s birthday party and then home by 7:30. The fun never ends around here!

  1. I agree Grazielas service is shabby, but getting better. The food is very good. The pizza is top notch. Daily News rated it one of the top in brooklyn. Ahead of Grimaldi’s Too!! Their apps are awesome. The service def needs work

  2. The pizza there is pretty good and the roof deck is fun in the warm weather.

dstr, we were also dissapointed when we first ate there when it opened but in our opinion it has improved quite a bit. Not really a destination restaurant but we live a couple blocks away so we eat there frequently.

  3. I think the pizza at Graziella’s is quite decent; I don’t think entrees are their strong point, though.

Frannie’s is definitely better, but there’s always a wait and it’s twice as expensive.

Graziella’s is also nice in the summer when you can sit on their roof deck.

  4. it’s a great place if you have kids. service isn’t great, food is average at best. we dined their the first week they were opened to great disappointment and then went back once a few months later, assuming they just didn’t have the shop set up yet. very unimpressive both times around. best bet is to take the extra time and venture over to franny’s.
