Why wouldn’t a resident be overjoyed to live in an area with landmark status? Click through to see one reader’s take.

Comment of the Day

The LPC will be a problem if you are doing work not in line with the historical look of the area. If you care about the neighborhood and your house, you will be overjoyed by having this landmark status. If you just want to renovate cheaply and destroy the look and feel of your house and the block, then you wouldn’t want a landmark.
