If the money really goes mostly to mass transit, I can live with that. If they also reduce the existing tolls too, like the Battery Tunnel, that would be good to balance that out. But I do not think that it will reduce traffic in Manhattan much, at least not in the beginning. the MTA would have to have spent a few years improving the transit system we have now before it can accommodate any more riders.
