Just because a house costs $11 million doesn’t mean everyone will swoon over it. Such is the case with this Boerum Hill behemoth; read on for one commenter’s feedback.
Comment of the Day
I feel like this house is searching for a soul. The bathrooms and upper floors on the home seem nicely appointed and I appreciate the detail work – not just a square box. That said, the can lights stand in stark contrast to the paneling and built-ins. At the very least there should be pendant fixtures with a medallion to anchor the rooms. That kitchen is a mess. Too much wood and the fireplace is absurd. The top floors come close to hitting the mark for an urban townhouse. The kitchen looks like it belongs in the owners 3rd home in Vermont.
