You likely know the Long Meadow, the Picnic House and the Bandshell, but Prospect Park is full of less obvious points of interest as well. Those are the focus of “Secrets of Prospect Park,” a Municipal Arts Society tour taking place Saturday.

The tour will visit sites that are often overlooked, including the Lafayette Monument, Litchfield Villa, a hidden cemetery, the Music Pagoda, the Music Grove, and other locales.

The walk, which starts at 4 p.m.,  is led by Kevin Walsh, the founder and proprietor of the popular blog Forgotten New York, and a frequent leader of tours around the city. (He’s also a Brownstoner Queens columnist.)

Tickets are $20 (or $15 for MAS members). Advance purchase is required; after you buy you’ll be given the meeting location. For tickets, click here.
