Buried near the end of an article in The Times about how a number of universities have expressed interest in establishing a research center somewhere in the city was this tidbit regarding where the facility might go: “Along with the old hospital site on the southern end of Roosevelt Island, they include space on Governors Island in New York Harbor and complexes of buildings at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and on Staten Island.” If it were indeed to be developed in the Navy Yard, where would it go?
