A number of closings for units in 500 Fourth Avenue have been showing up in public records lately, and the broker representing the building says it’s 90 percent sold at this point. The 156-unit condo, which is between 12th and 13th streets, first hit the market in early 2009. Joyce Kafati-Batarse, the Elliman broker handling listings, says there were 12 closings last month and prices for the remaining units run from the mid-$300,000s to the mid-$800,000s.

Actually the Russian buildings are a little nicer because they have windows on the sidewalls.
This building does have windows on the sides.
This looks exactly like the housing blocks outside central Moscow.
Except those were built in the 1950’s through 80’s.
