From the Forum: What Professional Should be Hired to Fix Water Damage?
What type of building professional should be hired to fix water damage that keeps reappearing?
A reader is concerned about some water damage to the plaster on the top floor of their brownstone. A previous patch job to the interior wall has failed but it doesn’t seem like there are any obvious roof issues that could be allowing the water to get inside. The repair is beyond their capacity to fix but but they aren’t sure what type of professional they should consult.
