The owners in a co-op are thinking of taking over the management of the day-to-day operations for their building to become self-managed, rather than outsourcing the job to a management company. They’ve found it difficult and expensive working with a management company but are wondering about the pros and cons of owners taking on all the tasks. What difficulties might they face?
