From the Forum: Can a Garage Legally Be Converted Into a Home Office?

A reader is interesting in converting a garage in poor condition into usable work space. The garage is located behind the house and ideally would be turned into a home office or studio with just a half bath, no kitchen. The homeowner is wondering whether such a conversion is possible in Brooklyn.
