Faced with some vintage gas fixtures in the house, a homeowner wants to make sure that the old lines are properly capped. The electrician working on their home renovation suspects they are capped but advised calling in a plumber to double check. Should the homeowner confirm that the old lines are cut off at the meter and if not, call in a professional? What else should they be aware of in tackling a renovation with old gas lines?
Please chime in with your advice.
