An abandoned townhouse is causing issues for homeowners who share a party wall and they are trying to figure out their options. Their attorney has been unable to track down much info beyond the owner’s name. Once they have done more digging for information on the owner, how should they proceed? Should they hire an engineer to assess the damage the neglected property is doing to their house so that they can pursue the issue in court?
Please chime in with your advice.
