It’s a big weekend for architecture and urban archaeology buffs. Open House New York is holding its annual weekend of tours that let regulars joes get a look inside some of the city’s most interesting–and mysterious–landmarks. Many of the tours–including faves like the Brooklyn Navy Yard and Red Hook Boaters Tour–are fully booked, but you can still get in on goodies like Victorian Flatbush, Wallabout and the Brooklyn Army Terminal. You can also feast a la cart. Chat with the architects doing the green renovation of 435 Pacific Street or get an early look at the Raphael Vinoly-designed addition to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. And if you take some photos, upload to Flickr and tag them with Brownstoner or OHNY so we can put together a montage on the site next week.
